Description
Liquid mercury (quicksilver) is the only metallic element that is liquid at standard room temperature and pressure.
It has the chemical symbol Hg and atomic number 80.
It is extremely dense, silvery-white, and poses major health risks primarily through invisible, toxic vapors rather then direct contact.
Liquid Mercury (Element) is used in ayurveda to make Parad Bhasma and Parad Tablet / Parad Tablet ( Mugdha Rasa).
